  1. Here are my comments on your paper:
-I understand the thesis ideas that you have, with each of them having separate sentences. However, it might be helpful to introduce this with a sentence combining all the aspects "In the next 100 years, there will be many changes to sovereignty, culture...."
-I think you need to give some sort of background in the sovereignty section. What you have is really good but there needs to be some sort of set up there (I know you do not want to add too much, but some mention would be helpful to the reader)
-The environment section comments are similar to the sovereignty one. You go 100 years in the future, I think the reader needs at least something to get us there
-I like your ideas of what to add for the cultural section that you have at the bottom of the paper

  2. Just a few questions/ suggestions:
    - Which corporations and which global elite are picking up lost sovereignty, which market gets most power now?
    - How do the regional empires interact with each other, is there a sort of framework or board that those leaders sit on?
    - Is it possible that the international organization set up to deal with crisis teams up with the empire?
    - How are you saying that “it is not natural for humans to want to be ruled or controlled by someone or something” when you you are explaining how nations lose sovereignty to a regional empire?

  3. A few questions and ideas:
    - What would the sharing of power between corporations and states look like? You mentioned this a little bit in class. Also, are there any states that are still powerful?
    - you mention how there is no homogeneity, but then you also talk about imperialism which seems by nature to crush local cultures
    - Also just echoing Val's question about regional empires interacting with each other
    - How do people respond to corporations breaking down sovereignty? For instance, NAFTA has been viewed as bad for the US worker and there has been considerable pushback against it
    - Overall you have a good track of where you are going, just need to develop some ideas a little more fully

  4. Comments on paper:
-The power dynamic of the corporations? And then the corporations and the states?
-More about the transition to an empire? (you said in class it wasn't a smooth transition so just further clarifying that)
-For environmental problems does the world come together to solve it or does each region handle their own issues in the empire?
-How will security change? Rogue states?
-I think if you expand on the ideas like you said you were going to it'll be a really nice paper. The quote was amusing
